Max is a Yukon-born performer interested in exploring the connection between concerts and the performing arts industry through theatre and film. A recent discovery of their passion for performing led them to join the industry in early 2022. He is currently studying at Capilano University for Musical Theatre.

Over the years, he’s developed many hobbies due to his lived experience across Canada. He picked up gaming and continues to play whenever he’s got the chance. Favourites of his include Overcooked! All You Can Eat, Diner Bros, and 1700+ hours in Dead By Daylight.

A few that come with the territory of being a performer is singing, dance, and acting. From a young age, Max had been humming along to the radio in his parents’ car, bumping along to the music. In his final year of high school, Max joined an experimental performance program for a semester called M.A.D. where he got to discover a new passion of dance. Luca Squires, a dancer since childhood, inspired him to pursue contemporary dance which is how Max ended up at the School of Contemporary Arts division at Simon Fraser University for his first two years of study.

Max is a fanatic of music videos, watching them and finding great inspiration from pop culture moments in time. You wouldn’t be far to guess he’s rewatching HOMECOMING, Beyoncé’s 2018 Coachella performance special on Netflix.
